FAQ’s

Below, you’ll find questions we are frequently asked.

What differs a SharQui class from a traditional bellydance or bellydance fitness class?

A SharQui class never stops moving. It offers both the fitness component of a cardio workout while still being able to teach authentic bellydance. Think of it as a traditional hi/low impact aerobics class but with bellydance movements. All movements are broken down and then built up methodically, rather than the student mimicking the instructor and expected to figure it out on their own. This ensures a class that is not only safe but a structured workout that involves counting, cueing and breaking down while in motion.

Is there a demand for SharQui Instructors?

We have instructors around the globe. Since SharQui is accredited by AFAA, NASM and ACE fitness associations, SharQui is internationally recognized by employers of all types. Because of the accreditation, fitness facilities and corporate programs are interested in the SharQui Workout, even if they might not ordinarily host a dance class. We help you create demand in your local area using proven bellydance fitness marketing and retention methods. As a member of the SharQui CREW, you are part of our Business Builder program. We provide support for the entire life-cycle of launching, building, and maintaining your groups. Our education on promotion, systems and technology makes marketing foolproof.
